Parents are being encouraged to check their medicine cabinets for a pair of generic children's cough syrups that are now being recalled.

Both come with an overdose risk after it was discovered the dosage cups included are marked incorrectly.

The two products are children's guaifenesin grape liquid and cherry liquid, both sold in four-ounce bottles. The over-the-counter cough medications are sold generically under different brand names.
